Craigellachie's taste has always provoked opinion with its it's sulphury and meaty style.
Now you can decide for yourself as Craigellachie owners, John Dewar & Sons have released not one but a whole new range of Craigellachie single malt whiskies, the first four expressions in the new range are Craigellachie 13 Year Old, Craigellachie 17 Year Old and at the top of the range for the time being is the Craigellachie 23 Year Old. They have also launched the Craigellachie 19 Year Old which is exclusive to travel retail and if that is not enough the four whiskies will be joined next year by the Craigellachie 31 year old.
More on the new range an my tasting notes here:

| They do sound good, the Craigellachie 23 in particular but it has some price tag at £330 for a 23 year old. |

| Craigellachie has always been a single malt the whisky writers liked to tell you was good and that it should be bottled as a single malt so good to see that they have. William your note on the Craigellachie 17 sounds good, I may treat myself to a bottle. |

I am sure the Crauigellachie is good going by your notes William but that is quite a price they have put on it, i would guess they dont have a huge stock of this age hence the price.
The travel retail Craigellachie sounds appealing to me. |

Looking forward to forum feedback on these guys, I'm interested in the 13yo also so it may be my next purchase depending on what people on here think. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |
