|
|
Today is Halloween in most countries when ghosts, goblins, superheros, etc., come to life with kiddies and grown-ups alike. What are you going to dram tonight for the occasion?
Later today, I will pour Bowmore, The Devils Casks, the original offering at 56.9%abv which seems only fitting. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Brummie, how about I dress-up as a cooper from the 1800's? I can also keep a look out if the Devil "comes a calling" re Bowmore The Devils Casks.

Based on an online discussion I read pitting Islay peat vs Orkney peat - in honor of Halloween I proposed that I would create a Franken-dram!!!
Half Uigeadail, half Highland Park 10
Vatted in a glass for 30 minutes.
And we shall see how the peat cousins blend. Happy Halloween. _________________ Slainte |

Now you have to come up with an actual Halloween name for it. How about:
Ghost n' Dram
or
Liquid Glen Magic
or
Witches Brew-Smoke & Sweet
What can you come up with folks? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

In the final analysis, I would say enjoy them separately. It was strangely disjointed in taste. But that's what experiments are for. As for the original peat vs peat discussion, I agree with several others - must have both to keep my Gods happy. _________________ Slainte |

I had some Port Charlotte Scottish Barley, with the smell it scared the kids away. _________________ The Laga 16.
