Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve Bullion Bottle Special Edition is different from Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve and the price differential is less than a dollar. I understand the Bullion bottle has Clynelish as its core malt. Has anyone tried this one? It's for sell here. The opaque bottle also serves as case I'm told. There were 5 bottles in the store and none had cases.
P.S. Picked one up this afternoon. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

I havent tried it, i was never sure if the Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve Bullion Bottle Special Edition was any different from the standard Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, both are around the same price here.
I preferred it when the Johnnie Walker Gold Label was an 18 year old premium blend which contained just 15 different single malts. Now the new(ish) Johnnie Walker Platinum Label has the 18 year old age statement. |

| I havent tried the Gold Label Reserve Bullion or the new Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18 year old. I do enjoy Johnnie Walker but i havent explored the rearranged and new colour line up. |
