The Glenfiddich 18 year old has been given a new look but don't worry it is the same Glenfiddich 18 year old that you will find in the bottle.
The Glenfiddich 18 is married in small batches of no more than 150 casks, a combination of American and European Oak. After 18 years maturation the casks are hand selected by Glenfiddich's Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, to be married in large wooden tuns for a further three months. The new look bottles will have the batch number of the whisky on the label.
I have a Canadian market bottle of Glenfiddich 18 and the batch number is right on the label No. 3267. but the rest of the label is a little different that this one. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
