| Hi All, I would be very grateful if anyone can help me in valuing a sealed bottle of whisky found when clearing out a friend's house. Based on the bottle labelling it is a 700ml Glenfiddich Excellence, aged 18 years, pure malt, 43% vol whisky. I'm afraid I do not know when it was bottled but I would estimate pre 1980s as the whisky drinker in the family passed away over 30 years ago. It is boxed. Does it look like this:
If so i believe they sell for around £100 - £125 at auction, you will then have auction and postage costs to come off of that price. |
