Hi everyone! I was hoping I could get some help from all you whiskey connoisseurs. Years back I was given, according to the label, a very old bottle of 1894 "Old Highland Malt Scotch Whiskey" that was bottled in 1918 and sold by Morten & Co. of N.Y.. I was hoping perhaps someone had information on this whiskey. I've attached photos of the label & bottle

NOTE: AS REQUESTED I'VE ADDED ADDITIONAL PHOTOS

Was able to find this bit of info on Morten & Co. Apparently the re-bottled not only whiskey but wine also.

Any information you can provide will be most appreciated. I can be reached at

Thanks, Joana

Joana, according to the label on the bottle the whisky is from the Orkney Islands, an archipeiico in Northern Scotland, stored there in wood cask between 1894 and 1918 when it was bottled, making it 24 Years. Quite unique really. I have no idea of value or whether it is drinkable. Was it ever opened? If not, keep it unopened.
