Hey guys
This is my first post on this forum so I better introduce myself first.
I am very passionate about whisky and I am lucky enough to be heavily involved in the industry itself and take great pride in my work to ensure Scotland's many great Distilleries continue to produce the finest whisky in the world as they become more and more modernized.
Many people who are not involved in the industry would be amazed at the lengths we go to in order to ensure each and every malt maintains there distinct character and nuances year on year, bottle by bottle.
As the technology advances, the whisky remains the same and I take great pride in the fact that in a way I work to protect Scotland's age old tradition, to ensure that our drams loved the world over, continue to be the holy grail of aged spirit, the drink which many nations aspire to replicate but can never quite achieve.
Some claim its our water, others our air, some even say it's the weather or the grain that we grow but I can assure it's none of those things, its the Scots who craft it with passion and skill, passed down from their fathers and their fathers to.
You just can't train someone to create a drink so complex and unique.
Anyways, sorry for the long post but I wanted to just tell everyone my view and who I am and of course that I am very proud of our whisky and i'm proud to be Scottish!
