Hi
Visiting Scotland next week and was wondering if the whisky section at Edinburgh airport is the Mecca I can only imagine it to be.
Tips anyone?

Last time i was at Edinburgh airport it was World Duty Frees World of Whiskies shop that was there. They had most of the whiskies which appear on their website

Overpriced NAS. Take your business elsewhere.

I wouldnt consider World of Whiskies a Mecca but you can find some good offers and there are always some travel retail exclusive bottlings but as drPete points mentions many are NAS Evil or Very Mad

Plenty of good whisky shops in Edinburgh such as Royal Mile Whiskies if you are looking for a good selection or William Cadenheads shop up the Rroyal mile is also worth a visit.

I agree there are more and more NAS money makers for the distilleries in duty free but there are stil a few travel exclusive hidden gems to be found also and some of which wont put a big dent in your wallet such as the Glenlivet 12 First Fill.
