|

Fans of the peaty Bowmore Islay single malt whisky will be pleased to hear that Batch 5 of the popular limited edition Bowmore Tempest 10 year old series is now on the shelves of specialist whisky shops.
Bowmore Tempest Batch 5 is just like the first four batches that came before it, aged for 10 years in first-fill bourbon casks, non chill-filtered and this one was bottled at 55.9% ABV.

As you can see from the official tasting note Bowmore are strangely not giving much away as far as peat level goes but hopefully it follows in the footsteps of earlier bottlings and is worth a try.
It is available now from The Whisky Exchange _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

All the Tempest bottlings have been worth a go so far.
Good point about the official tasting note William, it is odd how they havent mentioned peat in it, i would assume it is then very very mild. |
