The Six Isles was created by the malt team at Ian Macleod Distillers, The Six Isles is a blended Island Malt made with the best of mature malts and selected from casks drawn from distilleries on each of the six whisky producing Scottish Islands: Islay, Jura, Mull, Arran, Skye and Orkney.
Nose: Clean and light with precise phenolic notes, citrus, vanilla.
Palate: Immediate smoke, but with a balancing sweetness that runs the length of the palate. Great drive and energy.
Finish: Phenolic, dry. Medium length.
Comment: A young, punchy vatting. For beginners and peat lovers.
