Is it just me being picky but the amount of websites selling whisky with certain brands on sale but the picture does not match the bottle in the description. A perfect example of this is the Macallan 18 year, as we know a new release comes out every year but more often than not the description will not have the year distilled but will show a picture of an 1986 or something similar and as we collectors know the packaging and year makes a lot of difference.
I did have a dispute with a major retailer with the above example, I even e mailed them and they reiterated it was a Macallan 1986, well you know what comes next, the bottle arrived and it was distilled in 1995, as a gesture of goodwill they allowed me to keep the bottle and refund me the price I paid and even updated their website.
Even the Highland Park's own website shows a bottle of the 30 year old which the new version has a 45.7% strength(as shown in the picture) but the description is for the older 30 year which has a strength of 48.1%.
