Hello, I found a really old Queen Anne Whiskey bottle in a old house attic, never opened. Still in very good condition. I want to know how rare this bottle is. I cant find it on ebay or other whiskey websites. I also would like to know what would be the value.. Thanks.
I would think it is certainly worth a few pound. I do not recognise the bottle so it is certainly from before my whisky drinking time, I cannot make out the bottle size from the picture. The bottle size can sometimes help age a bottle.

In the UK up until 1980 standard size bottles were 26 2/3 fl ozs, they then changed to 750ml in 1980. About 1991/1992 the EEC (or EU as they call it now) changed the standard size from 750ml to 700ml.
Is the bottle you have 26 2/3 fl ozs if so it is from before 1980. It may be worth contacting The Whisky Exchange as they buy rare and collectable bottles and they may give you an idea of its value or you could also try contacting McTears Auction house in Glasgow who holds specialised whisky auctions every so often.
