Smokehead Extra Black 18 Year Old
Colour: Light gold with silver tones
Nose: Instantly full peat smoke but underneath lies earthy, chalky notes with ginger, mint and the suggestion of cream and bananas.
Taste: Starts light and briny with gentle cloves, then smoke slowly builds along with vanilla and cocoa. Fantastically rounded and smooth with a pleasing oily mouth feel. One to savour.
Finish: Impressively long and pleasantly dry with smoke ever present, combining with rich dark chocolate and kiwi fruit.
