Douglas Laing's Old Particular Single Cask series and Scallywag blended Speyside Malt have been awarded Best Packaging for their categories at the World Whiskies Design Awards.

This is a well deserved acknowledgement of the thought and creativity that DL have put into the new range as the packaging for the range pays great attention to detail, it is presented in a premium gift tube, both the tube and bottle are regionally colour coded and have a good descriptive unpretentious tasting note telling you what you can expect to find in the bottle.

The concept of" presentation" is just as important in whisky packaging as it is in food packaging . "Eye appeal" for both types of products contributes to bringing the consumer to either the bottle or food item and then the product sells itself on its own merits.
