Hi, just wondering if anyone is going to this?
I have booked tickets for the Saturday, they have added a free shuttle bus from Inverness as the venue is at Bogbain farm, which is just off the A9, but with no bus stop etc.
Never been so looking forward to a new event. _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |

I was looking at the Inverness Whisky Festival website
http://www.invernesswhiskyfestival.com/information/
now i its 4th year, i am sure it would be a great event but they dont have many exibitors listed, the site says:
| Quote: | | Tomatin, Glenmorangie, Springbank, Glenfarclas, Balblair, Glen Ord, Bruchladdich, Cardhu and Clynelish, plus more to be announced! |
I doubt there will be many more exobitors announced if the event is on the 4th/5th April 2014. Great if you are local but a long way to travel for 9 exibitors if you are not. I wonder if it will just be entry level malts such as NAS, 10, 12 year olds that are exibited or would there be 18, 21 plus year old whiskies available to sample. |

We will be in Aviemore that weekend so it is not that far for us to travel.
It is not a big venue so I am not expecting many more names to be added but they are doing a few masterclasses, hoping to book the Glenmorangie one. _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |

| I think this is one of those events that will get bigger with time and will attract more exibitors, i have heard it is a great event but too far out my way just a few hours on the Saturday. |

Hello!
Great to see you talking about the festival and looking forward to welcoming you STUDOGG37!
I thought I would let you know that we also have Gordon & MacPhail, Benromach, Cragganmore, Glen Moray, and Kilchoman joining us in April. The Whisky Shop will also be exhibiting with their own personal cask and will be allowing festival goers to bottle their own.
Hopefully we will be able to welcome you all here in the future!

Think I should get some good drams for all this publicity _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |

Due to a family illness, our friends can't make this event on Saturday.
Very short notice but I have now two tickets for this event which have been paid for, anyone wanting to go get in touch.
Would have to meet us at the venue.
Cheers _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |
