Just a question to you all:

How often do you have a dram and how much?

I tend to do half a bottle in 2 nights - my girlfriend likes it as much as me so we do a bottle in 2 nights together. On average 2 bottles shared a week.

The advantage of my girlfriend liking it as much as me means I never have to make an excuse or justify buying a bottle.....on the other hand, I only ever get half my monies worth!

Matt, see here:

Sounds like me, you and your gf need to have a party Shocked Laughing Wink

If you do a bottle a week, seems reasonable. I'd drink more if I wasn't a dad.

Due to my boss expecting to see me come to work Monday to Friday not much through the week, 1 or 2 pours most nights and a few at the weekends if i am home.

I usually have a quarter of a glencairn a night, and occasionaly if i am doing a review I do a half if the whisky proves to be too subtle

One or two pours most nights, sometimes after a glass of wine with dinner or with a chaser at the weekend.

At the moment, I've had 6 small pours since the start of Jan.

So in summary, very little, very infrequently.

Normally though, I'd probably have a drink Thursday - Sunday and maybe 1 or 2 a night up to 3 or 4 on the weekend nights if I was feeling frisky.

None of them would be that large a measure though, so I'd say I get through a bottle a month max.

Not much compared to you guys - it varies, but on average probably about 2-3 days a week, about 3-4 drams a day.

I don't drink as much as I could or should, I drink as much as I do and it's only half as much as I want, but it's more than I would if I didn't drink at all... Rolling Eyes I think ..
