I just realised i hadnt posted this event, anyway if you are looking for something to do this weekend there is a superb list of events planned for the Autumn Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. It takes place on the 26th -29th September 2008
A Fabulous Four days packed with Whisky Tours, Tastings, Food Events, Outdoor Activities, Music and Song. If you ever fancied heading up to Speyside this is definitely a good time to go.

On behalf of Dufftown 2000 Ltd. I thank you very much for adding this event on the SMW Forum. We've been very busy setting up the Festival but all's ready now for the 00's of whisky lovers who descent yearly to the Whisky Capital.
You may still find accommodation but people normally book a year in advance.

No problem Rene, only too pleased to give the festival a plug here. Sorry for leaving it so late to mention it. I am sure a lot of work goes into such a big event, I hope all goes well.
