Hello thought you might like to know about the Whisky Galore weekend at The King edward Hotel in Blackpool. From Friday 28th Nov - Sunday 30th Nov 2008. The weekend starts with a talk and of course a tasting, but with a difference, it is with canopes and buffet treats. Some sweet some savioury and try and marry up the whisky with different foods. The Saturday eveing sees a fine 4 course scottish banquet followed by another whisky tasting. There will be quizes and prizes throughout the weekend. The cost? £99 per person for the whole weekend activities. Let me know if anyone out there is interested.

I am Edinburgh born My love Malt Whisky and fine dining hence the Whisky themed weekends. It is, I believe a great weekend no matter how expert you are in whisky tasting. A must for those who like myself just enjoy the stuff.
