William i know what you mean when you say there is a lack of peaty whisky at an everyday drinking price point, there does seem to be a hidden PEAT TAX these days were peaty whiskies are priced higher and are rarely on offer.

I have developed a liking for Kilchoman, hopefully the price settles down a bit in the near future now that it is approaching 10 years old.

I wont be through an airport until the summer, hopefully they will have this then.

The cheapest peaty whisky in my area would be Laphroaig 10 for around 44.99 USD without tax, and it is all up from there,

I was through Glasgow airport on Friday and they told me their stock of Kilchoman Coull Port sold out almost as soon as it hit the shelf. The sales assistant in World of Whiskies didnt know if they were getting more stock.
