Morning all,

Given its February 14th means its valentines day. The time for love and romance 'n' all that jazz.

So who's going to be your Valentine's tonight then?

Maybe a nice fruity 18yo, lively and energetic, or perhaps and older more dignified 30yo?

Personally for me I've actually got a 17yo lined up for tonight Wink

Miss Old Pulteny. Im talking whisky obviously. ....... Cool

Something sickly sweet would be perfect, e.g. a Sauternes finish such as Nectar D'Or. Unfortunately I don't have any of that so I may settle for some Glenlivet Nadurra.

So - I got FA apart from a card and a note to say to me that I'm allowed another bottle to add to the collection. So, question - what's out there around the £50 mark (ideally on sale) that I should grab? Best answer gets it bought.

I think I'll go with a Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve.

£50 doesn't go too far these days! Laga 16, Glenfarclas 105, Springbank 15?

I know and if you need to throw in p&p.

Got the Laga and have the 105 somewhere. Springbank is a good shout if I can find it stocked somewhere.

Just been browsing in TWE and a few i am considering in my next order are - Aberlour 16 £45, Lg4 Elements of Islay £47 and Glenlivet 1996 17 Year Old Cask Strength Edition £48.

I got a bottle of Lagavulin Distillers Edition off the other half this morning.

Good shouts.

Whilst I'm a Glenlivet fan and is an easy dram to share with other less hardcore whisky drinkers, this is for me. And I've never had an Lg 4.

Winner so far Cool
