Morning all,

2 weeks today until the scheduled arrival of Albo Jr II and the wife and I are at the moment still unable to come up with any baby names that we both agree on.

So I'm looking to you dear forum for inspiration, whisky style inspiriation. I'm not expecting to get any sensible answers, nor to use anything that you lot come up with. but you never know.

So just for a bit of fun, give me your suggestions, I'll propose the wildest/most humerious one to the wife, just for shits and giggles.

As for boys...

Murray - either after Jim or our very own Quaich1!

Aeneas after he of Coffey fame.

Glen / Grant.

Glen / Grant.

Or just Glen, leaving quite a choice of middle names including Kinchie, Goyne, Fiddich, Morangie, Livet....or my own favourite: Cairn Nosing-Glass

I could try and sneak that one in as a middle name.

Though Cairnes tasting glass is the way forward

My first son will be named cornelius, after my crazy great great grandfather who was a composer and bashed my great uncle with a chair when he missed a note on the piano. As for this Arran might be good.

My first thought was Glen but that's been suggested already. How about Kirk, short for Kirkwall in Orkney where Highland Park is produced? Razz

Was trying to keep it normal-ish. Harald might be another HP inspired one, just a Nordic spelling.

That said I have a friend who's a teacher at a school where two of the kids are called Tarzan and Pocahontas! Brother and sister apparently.

.....yeah, that's normal these days mate, hence Thor. No more kids for me but if I did have another lad I'd call him Thor Very Happy

How about a name from a closed distillery, Ellen (from Port Ellen), Rose (from Rosebank). Or if she is a big baby at birth, Rose after the new huge Roseisle distillery.

For a boy how about Keith (from Glen Keith) which was recently reborn.
