I see this one, Macallan 15 Year Fine Oak is now available at the LCBO here ion Ontario for $150. Canadian which is equivalent to 83 British pounds. It goes for 150 pounds on The Whisky Exchange and Master of Malts sold out at 43 pounds. Why so much disparity in price? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Hi Quach1, the Macallan 15 Year Fine Oak is discontinued here and like all discontinued Macallan bottlings before it the price will increase as stocks disappear. It would have been £43 and less when readily available. I always enoyed the Macallan 15 Year Fine Oak but i dont think i would pay £83 never mind £150 for it. |

Any age statement bellow 18 of both ranges (including the magnificent cask strength bottles) have been discontinued in the Uk, and a number of other places. _________________ Talisker 18 - the rest are just details |

| Yes the price disparity will be because it's discontinued here. |

| Got my brother to pick me up a Macallan Fine Oak 15 in New York last week at a cost of $95 including tax (£58), didn't think this was a bad price, on another note I did notice the same shop still had the Devils Punchbowl 1st release at under £100 (auctions at the weekend had a hammer price of £200 & £175). |
