Let me extrapolate Albo's fine thread for single malts to this category of Canadian whisky.
My favorite Canadian Whiskies for 2013 are:
Danfield's 21 Year Small Batch Limited Edition
Forty Creek Port Wood Reserve
Forty Creek Confederation Oak Reserve
Canadian Club Small Batch Sherry Cask
I would have to say my No.1 pick of the year is Danfield's 21 Year. This one's maturity is written all over it. It has layers of aromas and flavors like flowers on an exotic plant to be nurtured and savored during tastng.
What are you favorite Canadian whiskies for 2013?
***I do realize that the vast selection of Canadian whiskies here in Ontario is not available across the pond though a subset of expressions are. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Unfortunately as you say Murray we dont see a big selection of Canadian whisky this side of the water, i have never come across any of the expressions you mention. In the past the only Canadian whisky i have tasted was Crown Royal which i have had few times, always a decent very drinkable Canadian blend. |

I have always enjoyed Canadian Club, been a while since i have had it.
Have you tried Glen Breton? Which i believe is Canadas only single malt. |

Surprisingly, I have not tried Glen Breton but expect to in the not too distant future. There are so many fine Canadian whiskies that I have been exploring gradually. Having two whisky distilleries a "stones throw" from my house, Forty Creek and Dillon's is really a bonus and I know both whisky makers and have had the privilege of drinking their expression and picking their brains. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
