A few of you may be familiar with Kate Wright Sales & Marketing at Springbank, well it looks like Glenfarclas has managed to tempt Kate away and have appointed her as Sales & Marketing Executive.

Kate's appointment marks an expansion of the company's sales and marketing department. Kate who is fluent in French and Spanish, will initially focus on these important export markets for Glenfarclas. Kate remarked, "I'm delighted to be joining the team at Glenfarclas - it's a fantastic dram, and I greatly admire the company's independent spirit'.

I wonder if Kates move is related to Springbanks recent mothball opps i mean maintenance period. Anyway a bit of a loss for Springbank and gain for Glenfarclas.

There are very few Sales & Marketing names i would recognise in the whisky industry but Kate Wright is one, if she puts in as much effort with Glenfarclas as she did with Springbank then Glenfarclas have made a good catch and it will be a bit of a loss for Springbanl.

No Andy,
It's to get nearer to Mark Watt (boyfriend) and keep an eye on him too in Dufftown. Laughing
