I purchased this Canadian whisky for the first time today, distilled from Canadian prairie wheat for exceptional smoothness. Jim Murray seems to like this one. A nice price at $27.00 Canadian or about 15 pounds equivalent. I believe the most reasonably priced quality whiskies around are Canadian and unfortunately most are not available across the pond. Obviously, the finest Canadian whiskies are priced much higher. Canadian whiskies for sale at the LCBO in the 100-200 Canadian range are close to top of the line though the odd elite may be higher. The most expensive Canadian whisky is valued at $10,000 but is not for sale.
