| Just thought i'd mention this whisky is on offer until 5th November @ £33.50 per 70cl bottle. Good price for what in my opinion is an enjoyable dram |

That's a great price. Though I still remember the regular RRP being £35 not so many years ago. _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."

| It is nice to see the A'Bunadh reduced and £35 makes it fairly good value for money in my eyes, as long as the batch on offer isn't one of those tainted with Sulphur. |

I'll grab a bottle at that price, but in a general moan about how prices are going I should point out that I picked up a bottle of this on offer at the same shop (Waitrose) for £24.15 on 15/10/11 i.e. almost exactly two years ago.
By my reckoning that's over 17% per annum the price is going up by, hands up who is receiving wage rises to match that?
Yes, I know that's comparing special offers, but I'd be interested to see if retail prices in general are much different - it doesn't feel like it to my wallet!. |
