I have never come across the Aberlour 21 either, going by the image you linked to it looks like it has been bottled at 54.3% unless my eyes mistake me, which is possible as i have been drinking Laughing

Hi Murray, that is a decent line up of new whiskies coming your way.

The Auchentoshan Three Wood doesnt always get the best reviews from some of the critics but i do like it, a brown sugary, raisiny, orangey, fruity dram. Can be a little rough, a quite different expression of this lowlander and great when you are in the mood for it. Priced around £40 here now which is pushing it for this dram but arent they all starting to go over the line of what a whisky is worth these days.

I assume you mean the Port Charlotte 10, if so it is a lovely heavily peated to 40 PPM smooth Laddie whisky with a bit of sherry influence from maturation.

The Aberlour 18 is excellent, as you would expect a big vanilla, chocolatey, fruity dram with the extra smoothness you would expect from 18 years in the barrel.

I havent come across the Aberlour 21 year old before, is it perhaps a limited edition? Looks like it will be cask strength, i wouldnt mind tasting this myself, hopefully it will be like a mature Aberlour a'bunadh. I will ask Pernod Ricard next week for some info on it.

Any i have tasted in the Ancnoc Peter Arkle series have been great, they just recently released Warehouses the last bottle in the series.

The English Whisky Chapter 6 is very young, 3 year old whisky if i am correct, alway interesting to taste a new whisky at this age but i wouldnt want a full bottle.

Royal Salute 21 is an outstanding blended whisky.

the Aberlour 21 year old is new to me also but it does sound promising and hopefully has a drinkable price tag.

If PC is your thing, the PC10 is excellent.
3 wood I have found a bit bland, when I tasted with a few others at LHR last year, the AB 18 and 21 I would love to try; as more and more sherry bomb whisky get's overpriced Aberlour remains a go-to.

Murray, I make that around £170 a bottle, I would say it was a limited release if i saw a 21 year for that price here in the UK but the Canadian market is very different price wise.
