You know summers over and Christmas is on the way when Douglas Laing launch their now annual heavily peated Big Peat Christmas edition, the 2013 offering weighs in at 54.9% abv

| I got last years christmas edition, great dram and it makes all the difference being bottled at the higher strength. I do wonder how much Port Ellen goes into the blend though. |

Probably just a teaspoon given what Port Ellen fetches these days. |
