Can anyone tell me the approximate value of an old bottle of black and white special blend buccanans choice old scotch whisky.Glasgow and London Glentauchers distillery Malben Speyside.
Registered trade mark iran 704 and 13836.
The wire top is unopened and the bottle seems quite old.
It has the black and white dogs on the label/back.
Many thanks

Hi Simon and Judi
I would say the bottle you have is worth a few pound. The spring cap ( i think that is what you mean by wire top) tells me it is a old bottling probably from at least the 1960's but it could be from much earlier.
I recommend you take a look at The Whisky Exchange website they have a few bottles available dating from the 1930's to the 1960's with prices varying from £179 to £279. They have good images on their site which you can enlarge, they may have a bottle similar to yours. Just type Black White into their search box.
