Lagavulin will once again be the headline sponsor of the popular Islay Jazz Festival which this year will take place from 13th - 15th September. One of the highlights of the Festival from a whisky drinkers point of view is the much-acclaimed special Islay Jazz Festival limited-edition bottling of Lagavulin which is released during the Festival and only available to those attending the Festival.

I would love to head over to Isly for this, whisky and jazz are 2 of my favourite pastimes. Maybe get there one day.

Lagavulin have announced the special 2013 limited edition bottling which has been bottled to celebrate the Islay Jazz Festival 2013. A limited edition of 1,500 individually numbered bottles which have been drawn from hand-selected Sherry Butts filled on 19 January 1995.

Bottles of the limited edition 18 year old sherried Lagavulin will be available to personal visitors only at Lagavulin distillery with a limit of two bottles per customer priced at £99 per bottle.
