Well, check back here and on the other forums closer to the time as I'm sure there will be spares going, one of my guys is 50/50. I would only ask face price if I had to unload any. _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."

I would love to have gone up to Edinburgh for this but the money it would have cost me for travel, hotels, meals, tickets etc will buy me some nice whiskies instead. |

The limit was 4
There are plenty of events around the country, you don't need to come to Edinburgh. I note that SMWS are visiting Birmingham in July:

£39 is quite pricey but there is food and the chance to buy SMWS bottles. _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."

Unfortunately this year my spare money is spoken for elsewhere and if i made the trip up i would be eating into the money i would be spending on buying whisky. I will definitely be up again for the Whisky Fringe. I am planning on going to the Whisky Show run by The Whisky Exchange later this year, i have been to this before and it is by far the best whisky event i have attended. |

| I believe all 3 days sold out in 20 minutes, it really is a hard ticket to get hold of. |

I got the chance to taste a few Kilchoman whiskies last night, Machir Bay, 100% Islay and a bottle whiich Antony Wills had bottled by hand straight from the cask before travelling to Edinburgh. This single cask whisky was from one of the oldest casks maturing at Kilchoman, it is 7 years old and was bottled at cask strength so it is about a couple of years older than anything which has been released so far. The single cask Kilchoman will never be released but will be available to taste at the Whisky Fringe this weekend as the special "half time orange" dram at the Kilchoman stall and it is a cracker. It shows you how well Kilchoman is developing. One to look out for if you are going along to the Whisky Fringe. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
