BenRiach have anounced the release of its first Glenglassaugh bottling since taking over the distillery back in March this year. Their first release is a Glenglassaugh 30 year old.

I'm expecting that this 30yo will be very expensive. They are spending a lot of money on renovating Glenglassaugh's warehouses and probably need some of investment returns.
Ben Riach representative at Whisky Fringe told me that at the end of the year they will start with similar program of single cask bottlings as GlenDronach and BenRiach but at the Glenglassaugh distillery I've heard that they don't have enough older stuff to do it. Let's wait and see: |

| If it is on the same price scale as Benriach then the price shouldnt be way over the top, the Benriach 30 is £168 over at TWE |

Glenglassaugh have confirmed that the new Glenglassaugh 30 year old will be an ongoing expression and the RRP is £214.99 _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
