Good afternoon all! Smile

On business, I will be in Nashville, TN in July and Atlanta, GA in August. Can any fellow scotch drinkers tell me if Islay Mist 8 is sold in either of these states? The ABC board in Alabama doesn't stock Islay Mist. I'm usually not a fan of blended scotch but I've heard good things about Islay Mist, and I love Laphroaig.

Thanks.

A great blend with a nice honeyed sweetness, a nice touch of peat but nowhere near Laphroaig levels but still close to the Laphroaig character and i would guess there is the odd sherry cask in the blend as it has just a touch of fruit.

The Islay Mist 8 year old is hard to find even here in Scotland but a great value blend if you can get hold of a bottle.

You could try contacting MacDuff International via their website www.macduffint.co.uk/contact.php , they may be able to tell you if their Islay Mist whisky is available in Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA.

I have only ever had the no age statement Islay Mist, very mild peat and a good bit a of Speyside malt in it, quite a high malt content i would say. A decent blend for the price but it can be hard to find.
