Anyone tried it?
Ive bought a bottle and i'd love to know if it was a bargain at £100.
I have to be honest and say im not keen on the normal bottle, bit sweet and sharp for me. |

I tasted this at a tasting for all the Diageo 2010 Special Releases. Just looked up my notes which tell me that It was what i would have expected from Glenkinchie a light bodied, tart, citrussy (apple. pear, lemon), light barley sugar sweetness with a bit of mildly drying oak and touch of spice as you would expect after 20 years in the cask. I scored it 84/100
£100 sounds like a good price for this compared to the release price which was £125, whether it was a bargain only you can say. Personally the Distillers Edition is the best bottling i have had from Glenkinchie _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
