A pub in Toronto is offering the following 5 half ounce drams for a total of 40 pounds equivalent.
Auchentoshan 21yr Cask Strength
Brora 18yr Cask Strength Laing
Coleburn 1983 Signatory
Ardbeg 27yr Cask Strength Laing
Port Ellen 1980 Signatory
Comments. Fair, unfair, what do you think? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| a half ounce is just under 15ml so that is a decent size sample and considering what the whiskies are i would say it is a good deal. |

When you consider you would be lucky to find a bottle of Port Ellen or Brora under £500 in a shop that sounds like a good deal. The others should be interesting also. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

Charlie, I've been there twice in the last year and tried some really rare ones. There's not too many places where you can find many hundreds of rarer and rare malts for sale by the ounce. I believe they may have over $1,000,000 (Canadian dollars) inventory worth of single malts. Some of the rarer one's I've tried have been about $50.00 an ounce or more. You do need a thick wallet there. Then of course they also serve meals so the bill grows. It's about 90 minute drive one-way to the pub in Toronto from my city in Southern Ontario. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
