Benroamch, Speyside's smallest distillery is set for a major expansion to meet growing demand for their single malt whisky around the world. They plan to employ a third stillman enabling them to double production and they will also build another two warehouses next to the Forres distillery as well as recruiting a brand manager.

I was talking to the people from Benroamch at the Royal Highland Show a couple of weeks back, they mentioned then that they were getting a 3rd stillman in to double production, I completely forgot until I read your posting.
I asked them if they were planning on selling any of their extra whisky into the blending market (as I beleive they don't at the moment), and they said no, they would stick only to the malt market as demand was ramping up for their product at the moment.
It's always nice to have these chats with people, all interesting stuff. |

| Good to hear, although it goes to show how efficient modern production methods are... |
