| I noticed that my local Aldi has the Tweeddale Blend 12 year old for £24.99 which i was surprised to see as it is a small batch release. I wouldnt think it will be in every store though as it is a small batch release and i doubt there would be enough to stock every store, but i may be wrong. |

Thats not a bad price for this, i this it goes for around £30 in most whisky shops. Did you notice which batch it was? |

Mark on the Aldi website it states that it is the Tweeddale Blend 12 batch 2 which is excellent and £25 is a good price for this as you say usually around £30 and you would have postage costs also.

Thanks for the tip-off!
After seeing this I popped into Aldi before getting home and bagged a bottle. They had a stand at the recent Whisky Fest event so I'm kicking myself I passed up the opportunity to try it but I'm sure I won't be disappointed at the price. Sherry casked grain must be fairy uncommon! From the Web site it looks like these might be the last of it:
Now out of stock, was selling at £35 plus P&P.

| I think i will try and get hold of a bottle of the Glen Marnoch 18 and Tweeddale blend from Aldi, cant go wrong at these prices. |
