|
|
Just five months after the launch of its new Cask Strength expression, GlenDronach has this week bottled the second batch of this new single malt.
The second batch has been personally selected once again by Master Blender Billy Walker. At 55.2% ABV, non chill-filtered and bottled at its natural colour, it has been matured as before in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Bought two bottles and they were delivered yesterday.
Opened one last night and its fantastic.
For the money paid it is an excellent dram - for those who have had Batch One I think Batch Two is head and shoulders above ! |

I tried this at the Stirling whisky festival on Saturday, and thought it was just ok.
I don't think I would buy a bottle, as I tried better on the day. |
