A man entered an LCBO outlet in Toronto, paid for a bottle of wine and walked out with
the Glenfiddich 50 Year which he didn't pay for.

| You would have thought it would have been in a display cabinet under lock and key. |

I'm also aghast as to how a bottle of this value wasn't under lock and key, not that there is ever a good reason for a crime, but surely they were asking for it!!!!!
Rdelusion - I think he looks very dapper in his Burberry shirt.
William - I think you need to be on the lookout for a Canadian 'alt' logon, who's first post is that of the sale of a very rate 50yr Fiddich. As by now we all know it's Quaich.
Bifter was asking a while ago about bootleg booze in Canada, perhaps this is the start? |

I knew your sense of humor Albo would get the best of you. You're a real joker.
The rarer malts are kept in separate locked cabinets called "The Whisky Shop" in select LCBO locations which are unlocked and supervised by staff when someone wishes rarer bottles. I never thought they would even keep this very expensive malt on hand but rather they would be delivered if ordered. From what I understand this particular store is one of the more popular ones in Toronto. I have never been in it but I imagine their selection must be stellar if they carried that one.

Below is the latest update and a perspective regarding the scotch theft. Everyone here in Ontario is talking about it. The brashness of this individual is unbelievable.
