Hi All,

I have a bottle of Whyte and Mackay 25 year old Millenium blend, this blend was given to distillery employees to mark the millenium. I am trying to put some kind of value on this bottle so if anyone has sold or seen one for sale or indeed if you can give me a price guide for this i would be grateful.

Many thanks in advance

Hi BGFORS

McTears auctions is always a good place to check to see how much whisky is worth. This page: http://www.mctears.co.uk/whisky%20june%202005%5B4%5D.htm shows a bottle Item 505 which had an estimate of between £40 - £60.

Or a shop price today is £125 as seen here:
http://www.whisky-online.com/acatalog/info_1168.html

But perhaps you bottle is different from these ones i mention as i dont know if the bottles i mention above were given to employees.

Thanks for that information Gregor that is the same bottle I have.
I am looking to clear out a few bottles I have, apart from e-bay or an auction where would you recommend to sell these.

Cheers

Hi BGFORS

You have a few options such as ebay or feel free to list it on here it costs nothing and you may get some interest. Whisky shops such as The Whisky Exchange purchase rare and collectable whisky, it is always worth contacting them to see what they may offer you. Remember if you use ebay give a good detailed description of the whisky as it will attract more interest.
