The Glenlivet single malt Scotch whisky, is calling on its global community of whisky fans, The Guardians of The Glenlivet, to select its next limited edition release, The Glenlivet Guardians' Chapter.

Master Distiller Alan Winchester has created three new single malt whiskies from the Glenlivet distillery's cask collection and has classified the three whiskies by their taste:

Just going by each whiskys short tasting note which one would you choose to be The Glenlivet Guardians' Chapter?

The three whiskies will be taken on a worldwide tour and showcased at tasting events in dozens of countries; Australia, USA, UK, Canada, India, South Africa and Japan to name but a few. Guardians will come together to sample, savour and select the expression they want to become The Glenlivet Guardians' Chapter.

Without tasting them i would go for the Revival refill bourbon cask expression.

Without tasting any, a classic Glenlivet bottled at 48.7% sounds good to me. I am guessing they are not going to tell us the age, or perhaps they will reveal the age once a whisky has been choosen.

Tasting available at the Whisky Show London this Saturday/Sunday and I will be there looking forward to it, the Show and The Glenlivet.

I will vote for the Exotic sherry cask, but a set of all 3 differently matured and bottled at the same strength would be a great idea IMO.

The sherry cask Exotic Glenlivet for me. It will be interesting to see if age still matters to the Glenlivet after their "Age Matters" campaign. Surely it wont be a no age statement release for the Guardians bottling.

Without tasting i will go for the Exotic, i know sherry casks can be a risky but surely they a dodgy cask wont sneak through the sulphur detector with such a small release
