There is no or has there been a Millbuie distillery to my knowledge. I would guess Cleghorn Distillers are/was an independent bottler and for whatever reason they havent put the name of the distillery on the bottle where the whisky was produced they simply say it was produced in Speyside.
Does the label say when it was bottled? |

| Trying to do this on my phone but not easy, type Millbuie into google maps and see what distillery is closest. I was getting Elgin which suggests Glen Moray but if you check on your computer should be easier to see. |

I have never heard of a Millbuie distillery and certainly not in operation in 1977, definitely a made up name by an independent bottler.
There are a few Speyside distilleries that dont like independent bottlers putting there distillery name on bottles so it may be one of those. Very rare to see the Glenfarclas or Glenfiddich names on a bottle from a independent bottler, you never know it could be one of those in your bottle. |

| Millbuie public Park is Right in the heart of the Distillery`s , mid way between Coleburn(silent) and Glen Elgin . The area that Linkwood gets it`s Production Water and a mile from Glenlossie /Mannochmore , Benriach and Longmorn so take your pick |

| This really doesnt help much but i will add my pennies worth, Cleghorn is a village in Lanark but i have never come across any bottlings from Cleghorn Distillers before so i would guess they are one of many that existed in the 1970's but has long gone. I could be wrong. |
