Has anyone else had a dram in here before?
Its on Trafalgar square so slap bang in central London. I find the prices quite high but that's generic across the whole of London regardless of what your drinking. Great selection and both times ive been ive met some like minded whisky enthusiasts.
Here is a link to the whisky menu: http://www.albannach.co.uk/pdf/albannach-whisky-Menu.pdf#view=fit |

Yeah comes with the territory I guess. I'm probably a bit too used to paying £3.50 for a Laphroaig 10 in the pub in Scotland!
Last time I was there the person serving did not seem too be an expert (he was impressive in cocktail making though) but the first time I went the guy really knew his stuff and made some great recommendations. |

Hey Dek, some of the prices you find in London are ridiculous I was once charged £8 for a bells that was a rude awakening.
Are your prices roughly half of what is listed on the menu? |

Have been twice whilst visiting London, the prices are London prices I am afraid, plus add the location, but if you know that when you go and plan for it as I did, part of a holiday trip, the staff on my visit were very helpfull, they do a selection of flights of whisky (about 5/6 to chose from with 4/5 shots) served on an antler, a bit touristy but I bought in to it, I enjoyed myself, doubt I would do it again though, the food is good also.
Cheers |

| It is no more, visited the smoke this weekend and thought I would pop in, it is now a Fullers pub 'The Admiralty' all full of wooden posts and panels the tourists will love it no doubt, it is themed on HMS Victory. |
