Hello everyone,
I got a question for you.
A friend of mine got a bottle of whisky called Scotch Clarion Pure Malt; Old Rare DeLuxe, we can't find anything or anykind of information about this bottle. We really want to know where this bottle is from and maybe, what it's worth.
I'm talking about this bottle, and this is the only thing I know about it;

I have never came across Calarion Pure Malt. Looks like it is a blended malt but could possibly be a single malt as the term Pure Malt is a confusing one and has now been dropped by the Scotch whisky industry. I would say it has most likely been especially bottled for the Dutch importer stated on the label. Are there any more labels on the back of the bottle giving a clue to who bottled it.
There was a Scotch blended whisky named Clarion No.7 (previously named Claredon No.7) which was produced by the Flagman Company in London. That is the only Clarion whisky i have come across.
As Keith says it was likely produced for the the Dutch importer. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky.
