Got given this last year by a relative that I didn't really trust. I assumed it was hooky booze, made in China, mixed with all kinds of nastiness and probably completely deadly.
Then I stumbled across this site and it's the exact same bottle:

Seeing as the Lidl Maxwell wasn't too bad at all, I think I'll try it and see  |

After a few drams over the last week or so, I have to say I am mighty impressed with this bottle. Sweet with a hint of smoke in the finish.
I did some more research and the label (especially the font) look almost identical to a tamnavulin 18.
This is definately the best value whisky I have ever tasted - I prefer it over the Maxwell 33 which is also a lidl purchase.
I will be keeping a close eye on Lidl releases from now on. |
