Murray's Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Well, I have been toying with creating a vatted malt just for fun for many months now for personal use (drinking at home) and I finally have come up with a concoction that really presents well- nose , palate and finish. I am quite willing to share my recipe with Forum members:

118ml of Lagavulin 16
237ml of Bowmore 12
118ml of Dalmore 12 and
118ml of Glenfiddich 15 Solera Vat.

My taste notes are posted in the appropriate Forum section.

Please suggest some possible names for this vatted malt of mine.

My own best name suggestion so far is : Scottish Jelly Roll

Why not got for a faux Glen something or other name, or a Clan something ot other, or mash the 2 together and come up with Glenclan vatted mal.t and given that your using all age statement whisky, you can have the 12 year old Glenclanam. Or really push the boat out and go for Royal Glenclan 12yr old!

Just read your tasting note, sounds like it turned out well. I am surprised that more of the independent bottlers dont do more vatted malts as they can be very complex and enjoyable.

Thanks for all the great suggestions for names. I ended up with two bottles approx. 50cl.
I decided to call my concoction (the first bottle):

Murray's Scottish Jelly Roll "Peat & Sweet"
Small Batch Limited Release 1 of 2
12 Year Old
Vatted/Blended Malt Scotch
Bottled Dec. 15, 2012

Solely for a personal dram at home should I so desire, another chapter in my scotch journey....
