Has anyone tried this dram? What did you think? Jim Murray rated it at 96.5 in 2012 Whisky Bible. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| The Glendronach 18 is a superb sherried Speyside whisky, you wont find many better sherried whiskys for the price you pay for the Glendronach 18. The Glendronach 15 Revival and 21 Parliament are also quality whiskies and worth a try if you havent already and they do a great. |

That's great information Chris. Thanks. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

I've not tried the 18, I picked up the 15 which I thought was excellent, though JM has cask the sulphur finger at this one in the past, I'm very sulphur adverse and I have to say I picked up no sulphur notes in the 15.
some of the reviews I have read and opions I have asked have rated the 15 above the 18 (especially when you take cost into account), though I'm sure both are excellent drams.
You won't go wrong with either. |
