Here are my tasting notes for my very first bottle of this offering which I opened today:

Neat-

Nose: Honey/cinnamon melange, syrupy, rich, pungent cantaloup, beach sand, Quebec maple tree sap, smokey raisins and vanilla bean metamorphosing into a vanilla ice cream sundae with honey biscuits served in a barber shop.

Palate: Creamy, flash of spicy to sweet, smooth and rich, spicy maple syrup, cinnamon-oak notes, mild pepper and chocolate mints (after Eights anyone).

Finish: Long, hint of bonfire smoke, spice, creamy and an oak canoe paddling in "honeyed" waters.

A lovely dram which does not disappoint. The nose opens like the passage ways of a great pyramid, one at a time with a purpose in mind. Well-balanced and refined right to the end.
