I treated myself and picked up a bottle of this Forty Creek Premium Cream Liquor made with whisky and fresh dairy cream by John Hall, Canada, today. I understand that in a head-to-head with Bailey's Irish Cream, The Forty Creek came out ahead in blind taste testing in Ontario. I'll wait until it gets closer to the Holiday season and then I'll open it. It came with a small attached bottle of Forty Creek Premium Barrel Select Whisky.
"this country's first Canadian-made cream whisky, contains fresh, Canadian cream and offers a vibrant tasting note of whisky along with a creamy flavour that really lives up to the yummy billing."
Ted Whipp, The Windsor Star
P.S. It even can last (stay fresh) for a year after opening; pretty good for a whisky /cream combination I would say. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Sounds interesting, i do like a whisky liqueur once and a while.
I was recently given a bottle of Arran Gold Malt cream liqueur and it is delicious if you ever get the chance to try it i am sure you will like it. |
