I have tried a couple of Karuizawa whiskies in the past and they were outstanding. These should be quite different being from a First Fill Sherry Cask and First Fill Bourbon Cask. The Bourbon cask would appeal to me most.

A friend of mine was at the TWE Whisky Show and raved about the Karuizawa 1984 First Fill Sherry Cask #4021, he called it a big sherried Japanese beauty. It is very tempting and i see it isnt sold out yet. 64.5% and distilled in 1984 i wonder what strength Karuizawa fill there casks at.
